Meteor Crater was formed when a meteor slammed into the earth. It remains the world's best preserved and first proven example of a large impact crater.

This is our second time in Amarillo and the Palo Duro Canyon is one of the attractions we missed on our first visit.
The Quarter Horse Hall of Fame was another attraction we missed on our first visit. The timing was better this year.
