Crater Lake Oregon

 

 

Crater Lake was created by a volcano eruption.  Even at the end of June there was plenty of snow surrounding the area.  One route around the lake was closed due to snow.

Melrose Winery Oregon

 

 

This is Don Kidd's son Charlie who is the winemaker.  Charlie is currently using the Umpqua Community College facilities until his brewery at Melrose Winery is ready for him to move in.  We sampled some of the wines he made and they were very good.
